Wanted poster for the movie Jonah Hex.
Hand printed letterpress from 19th century wood and metal type and a linocut image of Josh Brolin as the main character.
Everybody who does graphic props for movies will eventually design a wanted poster, and a serial killer's notebook. In the case of wanted posters, I'm always duty bound to explain that 19th century wanted posters NEVER had an image of the person on them - they just didn't have easy access to photos of people, nor the technology to easily reproduce them. Once my period accuracy lecture is over with, I go ahead and do the regular wanted poster with the image of the person on it - it's a movie staple, after all.
